Who we are

UK Nautical Supply Ltd (“we”, “us”) is registered in England & Wales. Our registered address is 12 Unity Place, Oldbury, West Midlands, B69 4DB, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: info@uknauticalsupply.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiries. When you use the quote form we collect your name, email address, vessel name, port of call, the service you need and your message.
  • Direct contact. If you email, phone or message us on WhatsApp we keep the contact details and content of your messages.
  • Analytics (only if you accept). Pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, collected through Google Analytics cookies.

How and why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and supply goods or services you ask for (legitimate interests and steps taken at your request before a contract).
  • To keep business, customs and accounting records and meet legal obligations (legal obligation).
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it (consent — we only set analytics cookies if you click “Accept”).

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure website use, but only after you accept in the cookie notice. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Declining has no effect on how you can use the site.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the business and answer your enquiry, such as: FormSubmit (forwards form messages to our email), our email provider, Google (analytics, and fonts loaded from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google), and port agents, suppliers or customs agents where this is needed to fulfil an order you have asked for. If you click a WhatsApp link, you are taken to WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the UK (for example in the United States). Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK’s approved transfer mechanisms.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry and contact details for as long as needed to respond, supply goods or services and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy of it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@uknauticalsupply.com.
